We offer a range of training that can lead to accredited professional qualifications or endorsed units - building on your existing skills and knowledge.  


We have worked closely with experts in their fields to ensure these qualifications meet the growing needs in various settings, providing advice and guidance and supporting you to advance to the next stage of your career.

First Aid Training

We currently offer two different first aid training courses - which provide attendees with the skills and knowledge to deliver first aid to casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

Emotional Health and Wellbeing Award

Aimed at practitioners from across the Early Years sector, this training offers a balance of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to promote and champion positive emotional wellbeing in the early years sector.

 

As part of the award, participants will also have the opportunity to achieve a brand-new NCFE CACHE Level 4 Award in Early Years Emotional Wellbeing.

Advanced Designated Mental Health Lead

The DfE are offering schools the opportunity to train their mental health leads and senior staff with £1200 of funding.

This discussion-based course is linked to a level 4 qualification and allows senior leaders the opportunity to share and hear approaches to mental health in educational settings.

Participants will complete a portfolio evidencing how they will embed the full role requirements and receive dual certification on submission – a National Educational Leader in Mental Health and a level 4 Ofqual-regulated qualification in Mental Health Aware Leadership (Education).

CIEH Food Safety & Allergen Training

Gain accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health with Introductory/Level 1 or Foundation/Level 2 in Food Safety or understand the precautions that need to be taken with our CIEH Food Allergen Awareness training.

 

All candidates will receive a certificate upon completion of the course as well as full CIEH accreditation in the subject.

The aim of this course is to extend practitioners knowledge, understanding and skills for best practice supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disability in the Early Years.

Preparation for HLTA

Improve standards and outcomes for children and schools whilst developing candidates’ confidence to reflect on practice and present evidence ready for assessment.

 

Our three day course prepares Teaching Assistants to present evidence of their current practice and be assessed against the HLTA standards.

National Award for SEN Coordination (PG Cert SENCo)

This 12-month Masters level qualification awards 60 points at Level 7 study and prepares aspiring and new SENCos to meet the national learning outcomes that all SENCos must achieve in their first 3 years of being in post.

The Liverpool Early Years SENCo Award

Our Liverpool Early Years SENCo Award has proven to inspire SENCo’s from across the PVI sector.

 

It offers Early Years Practitioners both theoretical and practical support in their role as coordinator of SEND (special educational needs and disabilities).

 

Participants will be awarded  'The City of Liverpool Early Years SENCo Award’ (Level 3) accredited by CACHE.

Early Years SENCo Award - 'Train-the-Trainer'

We are pleased to offer an exciting training opportunity for Local Authority advisors or consultants wanting to train to deliver accredited Level 3 Early Years SENCo training.

 

This training includes four days of face-to-face training on how to effectively deliver Early Years SENCo Award back within their own Local Authority.

 

Delegates will also have the opportunity to consider how this course can be adapted to meet the individual Local Authority context.
