Meet John Egerton

John Egerton is an established moderation manager across all phases and has supported the standards and testing agency (STA) as part of their national external moderation programme in other authorities.

He’s a strong advocate for purposeful assessment that informs the learner or the curriculum and has conducted action research in this area with schools across five Local Authorities as part of a ‘no levels’ changes project.

Training & CPD

We offer a range of courses to support schools to better understand their roles and responsibilities around assessment – including creating assessment policies to support curriculum development, how to establish clear timelines to collate and submit quality assured data and how to explore the range of assessment tools available.
