Preparation for HLTA Status

This three day course prepares Teaching Assistants to present evidence of their current practice and to be assessed against the HLTA standards.

 

The next cohort starts on 3 October 2023.

 

Successful completion of this 3 day course will lead to candidates being eligible for assessment to gain the nationally recognised HLTA status.

What will it cover?

 

  • Day 1 – Understanding the HLTA Standards
  • Day 2 – Evidencing standards and written tasks
  • Day 3 – Preparing for assessment

 

A further half- day Assessment Visit is payable and arranged by your tutor through HLTA North. Attendance at all three days is compulsory.

Delegates must hold Level 2 qualifications in Mathematics and English and bring the original copies of certificates on Day 1.
