Health & Wellbeing Award

The Liverpool Health and Wellbeing Award will help impact on the lives of children across  Liverpool, by supporting schools to improve the health and wellbeing of their whole school community.

The new award aims to provide an opportunity to celebrate current whole school good practice, whilst identifying areas for improvement that will make a difference and demonstrate impact.

The bronze review tool covers four main areas:

  • Emotional wellbeing and mental health
  • Healthy Eating
  • Physical Activity
  • PSHE

To get an idea of what the process covers, you can download a sample of the Bronze audit tool.

A Bronze pilot school recently fedback that:

''Condensing the award into four key areas provides opportunities to complete the application as a group / team with ease and prevents unnecessary workload for one person...The audit tool was very easy to complete and enabled us to reflect on improvements and next steps to move the school forward for the benefit of children and staff''.
