With the cost of staffing at approximately 80% of the school budget, it is imperative that the school’s human resources are managed effectively. Together we can ensure that human resource management supports the drive to raise standards and the quality of teaching and learning. Schools' HR offers a comprehensive range of advice, guidance and support to Headteachers, managers and Governing bodies on all human resource management issues.
Team members are fully qualified HR professionals, affiliated to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and have a full understanding of School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions (STP&C) and Green Book conditions of service. With a proven track record working with schools and education establishments, including Academies, the team also brings a wealth of broader HR experience from the NHS trust, police and private sector organisations. The team is organised in a way that ensures that every school has a designated Adviser who is their first point of contact. Each Adviser not only builds relationships with schools, but also enables schools to work together on matters that are important in their area.
