Course Overview
The three day course prepares Teaching Assistants to present evidence of their current practice and to be assessed against the HLTA standards. Successful completion of this 3 day course will lead to candidates being eligible for assessment to gain the nationally recognised HLTA status.
The benefit of completing the HLTA course is to improve standards and outcomes for children and schools whilst developing candidates’ confidence to reflect on practice and present evidence ready for assessment. A further half- day Assessment Visit is payable and arranged by your tutor through HLTA North. Attendance at all three days is compulsory.
