Course Overview
The aim of this course is to extend practitioners knowledge, understanding and skills for best practice supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disability in the Early Years. This course includes achieving a Level 2 CACHE endorsed unit.
Why attend?

- Become confident young children with a growing ability to communicate their own views and ready to make the transition into compulsory education.
- Attending this course will enable practitioners to reflect on statutory guidance and develop their understanding of how children develop and learn in the Early Years, providing the best provision they can to meet the individual needs of children.
What will it cover?
The course covers the following learning outcomes, practitioners will:
- Understand statutory guidance in relation to the care and education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Understand how children learn and develop in the Early Years.
- Understand the impact of transition.
- Understand best practice for meeting the individual needs of young children.
- Be able to plan to meet the individual stages of babies and young children.
- Be able to work in partnership.
Any supplementary information
Laptop or ipad with camera should be used for the sessions. Delegates need access to computer/laptop to complete work. Work will be completed during each session and uploaded on etrack.Gap tasks and some work to be completed out of session hours
