Emotional Health and Wellbeing Award

Course Overview
Aimed at practitioners from across the Early Years sector, this training offers a balance of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to promote and champion positive emotional wellbeing in the early years sector.

 

Practitioners will learn to embed and sustain a positive culture of emotional wellbeing within their setting. 

 

SIL is pleased to offer participants the opportunity to achieve a brand-new NCFE CACHE Level 4 Award in Early Years Emotional Wellbeing. 

 

Sessions will offer practical activities, evidence-based approaches and networking opportunities with colleagues from other schools and settings. 

 

Practitioners must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.

  • Theoretical knowledge underpinning emotional health and wellbeing
  • Practical methods to support and promote positive emotional health and wellbeing
  • The influence of families and practitioners on children’s emotional health and wellbeing and promote the importance of supportive practice.
  • How to create and implement emotional health and wellbeing action plans for children, staff and families to improve outcomes for all three key groups
  • How to best engage and work with families to make a positive impact in their lives
  • Knowledge of how and when it is appropriate to signpost individuals to national and local support services and to other professionals within the sector.
  • An understanding of the importance of continued reflective practice as practitioners continue to champion emotional health and wellbeing.

Who should attend?
EY leaders, teachers and level 3 practitioners from PVI settings.
