The Primary Learning Team offers a wide range of bespoke in-school support across all areas of the curriculum, working alongside you to bring about improvement in teaching, learning and leadership.
We are able to tailor any of this menu to your requirements and most support can be offered on a whole school, key stage, year group or one to one basis; during the school day, in a staff meeting or twilight or as INSET.
This menu outlines some of the in-school support that we are frequently asked to provide but it is not an exhaustive list and the activities under each heading are suggestions only:
Bespoke in-school support could include:
- Development of sustainable leadership of all curriculum subjects
- Working towards an action plan
- Identifying and meeting CPD needs of Subject Leaders
- Curriculum design and coverage (including application across other subject areas)
- Monitoring impact through work scrutiny, learning walks, pupil voice, standardisation and data analysis
- Audit of resources
- Developing parent/carer workshops
- Support for the development of quality teaching, learning and formative assessment
- Staff meetings to develop subject knowledge and effective practice

- Training for Learning support staff
- Team teaching/lesson reshape

- Foundation curriculum reviews
- Subject reviews through learning walks, discussions/interviews with Subject Leaders/Senior Leadership Teams, reviewing documentation, work scrutiny, pupil voice and data analysis
- Developing effective provision to support pupils at risk of underachieving

- Identification of curriculum gaps through data analysis/Question Level Analysis
