About the School
Matthew Arnold Primary School is a single form entry school situated in the Dingle area of Liverpool. We are looking for a Teacher with Phase Leadership (Y4 – 6) who is passionate about education, who constantly strives for excellence and shares our commitment to ‘Developing True Potential’ for all, socially, emotionally and academically.

About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic teacher with vision, passion and drive, who is ambitious for our children, staff and school community. The post is initially in Year 6 with accountability and responsibilities of a phase leader. We want to recruit a teacher with phase leadership to work seamlessly with our highly effective and forward thinking team, and to continue to build on the good work already in place.

 

The Phase Leader will have key accountabilities for:

  •  To support, hold accountable, develop, and lead the phase team to secure high-quality teaching, the effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils
  • To be a member of the school Leadership Team and make a significant contribution to the strategic development and direction of the school
  •  To work with the Leadership Team to secure progress for all pupils particularly in your phase
  • To support, develop and coach teaching and learning across your year groups, so that there is consistently good or better teaching across the phase
  • To support and co-ordinate assessment across the phase
