Cabinet Office’s anti-fraud initiative

It is Liverpool City Council’s duty to ensure public money is protected and used properly. That's why they are taking part in the Cabinet Office’s anti-fraud initiative...It's known as the National Fraud Initiative.

 

It involves submitting electronic data so it can be compared both within and between public and private sector bodies to prevent and detect fraud.

 

These bodies include police authorities, local probation boards, fire and rescue authorities as well as local councils and a number of private sector bodies.

 

Please note that your Liverpool City Council payroll data, including your personal details, may be provided to public bodies responsible for auditing or administering public money, in order to prevent and detect fraud.
