Personal Qualities
Due to the retirement of our long serving Deputy Headteacher, the governors at St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary School seek to appoint a dedicated school leader for the post of Deputy Headteacher. The governors at St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary School seek a Deputy Headteacher who:

• Is a practising Catholic who is able to continue to maintain and further develop the outstanding Catholic life and mission of the school.
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner who has a proven ability to enable all pupils to excel.
• Is knowledgeable in curriculum development with an outstanding understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum and a strong pedagogy across the age ranges.
• Has strong leadership skills and a proven track record of school improvement by leading staff through successful, sustained whole school initiatives.
• A supportive leader who has a proven record of motivating and inspiring staff to develop and improve their own practice.
