Becoming an Advanced English as an Additional Language (EAL) Practitioner

Join our upcoming accredited course with The University of Liverpool and explore advanced EAL pedagogy.

 

This 12 week University of Liverpool accredited course and successful completion and assessment of the module will be to the value of 10 credits (credits have the potential to be used towards gaining a postgraduate award).

 

This is a post graduate course and applicants must hold an honours degree.

 

It will explore advanced EAL pedagogy that will enhance the skills of both mainstream and specialist practitioners.

 

It will be delivered by both EMTAS staff and lecturers from the University of Liverpool English Language Centre.

 

The course will consist of 24 direct teaching hours and 76 hours of directed study.

 

When and where?

 

Commencing Thursday 11 January 2024, 4pm and will run throughout the Spring term only.

 

Delivery will be via tutor led sessions online.

 

Some sessions will be prerecorded to support a flexible approach to study.
