Battle of the Atlantic 80th Anniversary

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic - a fantastic BoA80 military village will open 1000 – 1800 on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May on the Mersey Waterfront.

It includes a riverside 1940s-themed military village, Merchant Navy and Royal Navy
ships open to visitors, flypasts over the Mersey by historic aircraft, loads of FREE family
activities with exciting activities and equipment from the Royal Navy, Army, and RAF.

This includes a Typhoon simulator, VR speedboat simulator, climbing walls, bungee runs, Spitfire replica, tanks, helicopters and vintage military vehicles.

There will also be cadet bands, drill and PT displays, 1940s music, dance, and other pop-up performances throughout the weekend.
