Model Music Curriculum - Online

Sessions Available Online
Online training sessions are provided via Microsoft Teams. Delegates should use their School Improvement Liverpool Account Email Address to login to the Microsoft Teams session.

Course Overview
These sessions build on what was an expanded overview of the Model Music Curriculum content last year, with links to resources. These sessions aim to skill teachers up with practical, hands-on experiences of how to make music in class. The sessions will be based on the Model Music Curriculum content and first-hand experience of a Deep Dive in Music by the trainer.

Why attend?

  • A resource bank will be freely available to access once all of the intended sessions have been delivered, ensuring that the project will continue to have an impact once it has finished

What will it cover?
Music coordinators will have a good understanding of the expectations DfE has of schools as presented in the National Plan and MMC, via the online sessions. The area specific training will all be based on the new National Plan for music, the MMC and preparing for an Ofsted Deep Dive in music.
