Course Information

It is a statutory requirement that every school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead who is a senior member of staff. The school must ensure that additional staff are trained to provide cover for this role.

This full day course covers the requirements of the DFE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ and the Local Children’s Safeguarding Board.

This course is repeated at the start of each term.
This training is unavailable to settings who are not part of the universal offer or do not have an SLA.

Cost: One free place annually to all Liverpool Schools who receive the universal offer and to schools that have a safeguarding service level agreement. Additional places can be purchased at £150 each if a school is part of the universal offer or has an SLA.
