Practitioners working with children aged 2 - 5 years
Children have a natural curiosity to explore the world around them. With the help of practitioners, children can use a range of opportunities to engage with others, be motivated, ask questions and to think critically and creatively about the world.
This three part training supports practitioners to plan safe and exciting opportunities for children with a particular focus on:
- Using the outdoor garden to plant, grow and explore the natural world
- Using wheeled toys and large equipment effectively
- Planning opportunities to be creative with food through cooking and baking; allowing children to explore using their senses.
- Risk assessing planned experiences for children
Delegates must be committed to attending all sessions.
Cost: £195.00 per delegate for all 3 sesions
