Course overview
This course will support school to develop or renew their school Educational Visits policy. Delegates will be given the opportunity to write a draft policy through the course.
Why attend?
Delegates will learn what information is needed to write a sound Educational Visits Policy which supports schools to run safe Learning Outside the Classroom opportunities.
What will it cover?
The course will outline current regulation and guidance in line with National Guidance and offer a comprehensive template for an Educational Visits Policy.

c. Induction, training, apprenticeship, succession planning
d. Risk management and risk-benefit assessment
e. Assessing venues and providers
f. Emergency procedures and incident reporting
