“To nurture the reading habit, schools need a strategic approach” The Reading Framework, DfE, 2023 This course will support reading leads/English subject leaders to review and improve their school’s current reading offer. Based on evidence and guidance taken from The Reading Framework, it will encourage leaders to examine all aspects of reading provision and routines in place. Sessions are still very relevant for schools with reading spines in place, including those with an adopted curriculum, and will provide the perfect opportunity for subject leaders to articulate the rationale for text choices and reading practices.

- Best practice in supporting pupils to develop a sustainable reading habit.
