Course Overview
This network will have two parts:
· Exploring the pre released GCSE materials GCSE from AQA
· A further look at the Ofsted Subject Report for Geography
Why attend?
This is an opportunity to work with peers at similar and different centres. Best practice and subject learning is shared alongside opportunities to problem solve.
What will it cover?
We will identify and share best approaches to the GCSE pre-release materials (AQA). For example, identifying vocabulary that may hinder learner comprehension and how best to secure it quickly. We will reflect on whether the KS3 and KS4 curriculum effectively prepared learners for the materials. The course leader will direct you to useful resources. In addition, we will consider the Ofsted Subject Report for Geography and how that might influence our thinking, planning and delivery.
