Adverse Childhood Experiences - Skilled Level (Early Years)

Course Overview
Working in partnership with Liverpool City Council, SIL are delighted to offer fully funded tiered level ACE Awareness training to ALL Early Years PVI settings across Liverpool. Building on the ACE Aware webinar (to be emailed to all settings in due course), this half day in person session will support delegates to:

 

  • Enhance their awareness of what ACE’s are,
  •  Understand how experiencing adversity as a child can impact a person across their life course, and how we can work together to build a healthy, positive future for ourselves and our Liverpool community.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of ACEs and an ACE response framework to use in setting.
  • Enrich their knowledge of ACEs with local relevance and practical steps for ACE Skilled practice.
  •  Understand how they can support their manager to implement achievable actions strategic changes in their setting.
