Y1 Phonics Screening Check Briefing for teachers who are new to Year 1 or Year 2

Course Overview
This course is aimed at teachers new to Y1 or Y2 who will be administering the Phonics Screening Check in June 2024. This session will support delegates with the administration of the statutory Phonics Screening Check to ensure it is delivered in line with national guidance. It will prepare Y1 and Y2 staff to carry out the Phonics Screening Check, determining what they are required to do and when, in order to be compliant with the Assessment and Reporting Arrangements.
