Forum for Enhanced and Resourced Provision- Network Meetings

Online training sessions are provided via Microsoft Teams. Delegates should use their School Improvement Liverpool Account Email Address to login to the Microsoft Teams session.

Course Overview:

These online drop-in sessions are an opportunity for collaboration between settings who have been commissioned to deliver a Resourced and Enhanced Provision. These network meetings are part of the continued development of the forum and will offer opportunities to discuss challenges, share good practice, and discuss and agree mutual training opportunities.

Who should attend?

Teachers, SENCOs, teachers, support staff of schools who have been commissioned to deliver the enhanced and resourced provisions.


Developing your skills and confidence when supporting the children in your setting
The course will enable practitioners to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in how to support children with special educational needs and have a positive impact on the outcomes for those children.

What will it cover?

  • The four broad areas of need and the graduated approach
  • Observation, Scaffolding and Effective Questioning
  • All behaviour is communication.
  • De-escalation Strategie


Any supplementary information
The course is being repeated on four days to offer flexibility for settings to send a different staff on different days.

Who should attend?
Support staff who work in the Enhanced and Resourced Provision bases.
