Masterclass session: Reviewing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) – including a Q&A session with a member from the SEND Team

EHC plans should be used to actively monitor children and young people’s progress towards their outcomes and longer-term aspirations. This masterclass will consider what the requirements are linked to the review process. There will be an opportunity to pose your questions to a SEND casework Officer for clarification about the process.

Why Attend?
Delegates will develop a greater understanding of the annual review process within Liverpool. This Masterclass will provide practical guidance and strategies to support colleagues when undertaking the process of reviewing an EHCP.

Reference to the Liverpool Local Offer A representative from the Liverpool SEND Team will be available to answer questions, please note questions about specific individuals cannot be answered during the Q&A
 

Who should attend?
Anyone who may be involved in the EHCP process. Head Teachers, Senior Leaders, SENCOs, Teachers, Support Staff, Health and Social Care Staff, Local Authority Officers.

Course frequency
Repeated 7 times during the academic year.

Cost: Free for all delegates employed within Liverpool City Council Services. £50 per delegate for all others.  All costs are subject to VAT
