Early Years SENCo Award Train-the-Trainer

Course Overview
School Improvement Liverpool is pleased to offer an exciting training opportunity for Local Authority advisors or consultants wanting to train to deliver accredited Level 3 Early Years SENCo training. This training includes four days of face-to-face training on how to effectively deliver Early Years SENCo Award back within their own Local Authority. As part of the four days delegates will explore the Early Years SENCo Award course materials and content. Delegates will also have the opportunity to consider how this course can be adapted to meet the individual Local Authority context. Each delegate will receive a training licence for 2 years and access to high quality electronic training materials. They will also be supported by the programme leader, and they will receive a quality assurance visit during one of their planned training sessions For more information please contact: [email protected]

Why attend?
Early Years SENCo Award has been constructed in collaboration with educators, training organisations, SEND professionals, setting SENCo’s and managers from the PVI Sector to ensure it is meaningful. It has proven to inspire Early Years SENCo’s from across the PVI sector, offering Early Years practitioners both theoretical and practical support in their role as coordinators of SEND (special educational needs and disabilities). On successful completion of Early Years SENCo Award training, participants will receive certification from School Improvement Liverpool in recognition of their achievements. Participants will also be accredited with the Level 3 CACHE/NCFE qualification ‘Special Educational Needs Coordinator in Early Years Settings’.
