Success@Arithmetic: Number Sense

Course Overview
Success@Arithmetic:Number Sense trains a lead teacher and a teaching assistant together to successfully implement an evidence-based maths intervention programme to children in Years 3-5. The lead teacher conducts a detailed diagnostic assessment and selects a series of Success@Arithmetic:Number Sense steps to create a tailored programme of up to 30 sessions, designed to support children to understand the number system and become fluent with arithmetic facts. The teaching assistant uses the detailed lesson plans and a range of resources to deliver the intervention to a group of up to three pupils.
