Preparation for HLTA Status - Online session

Online training sessions are provided via Microsoft Teams. Delegates should use their School Improvement Liverpool Account Email Address to login to the Microsoft Teams session.

Course Overview

This 3 day online course prepares Teaching Assistants to present evidence of their current practice and to be assessed against the HLTA standards.

Successful completion of this 3 day course will lead to candidates being eligible for assessment to gain the nationally recognised HLTA status

Delegate must attend all 3 dates

Throughout each of the days there will be the opportunity for information sharing, discussion, reflection, and self -guided learning.

 

Supplementary information
**Delegates must hold Level 2 qualifications in Mathematics and English and copies of these certificates need to be provided to be accepted on to the course.**  

There is a requirement to upload certificates on to the HLTA North website prior to Day 1

Delegates will be invoiced prior to the start of the course to enable access to essential documents. These documents must be printed by the candidate prior to Day 1 for use during the sessions.

Delegates must have access to online training facilities  for the duration of each of the 3 days.
Upon completion of the course a further half day assessment visit (£450) is payable and arranged by your tutor through HLTA North

 

Who should attend

Experienced Support Staff – TA/LSAs

Candidates must be able to provide examples of when they have advanced learning when working 1 -1, with a small group and with a whole class (without a teacher present) as well as examples that show how they have demonstrated the HLTA standards in their practice.

£325.00 per delegate
All costs are subject to VAT

Universal courses have limited places available and to ensure all schools and settings can benefit from this offer, delegates who fail to attend or cancel their place will be charged an administration fee.
