Our Service Level Agreement

Our Safeguarding Service Level Agreement enables schools outside the Local Authority and Independent Liverpool Schools to access the above services.

Schools may choose to join existing briefings or we can provide the training to a cluster of schools in their locality.

Schools who purchase a safeguarding service level agreement receive the following statutory training and cores services:

 

Statutory training

  • Training for those new to the statutory role of Designated Safeguarding Lead and those who provide cover for the role (one free place per year is included within this agreement. Additional places are priced at £150).
  • Annual Safeguarding Briefings for headteachers, school leaders, chairs of governors and safeguarding governors outlining key statutory safeguarding responsibilities, preparing for an Ofsted inspection, key changes to local and national guidance and how best to quality assure safeguarding and child protection practices. (one free place per year is included within this agreement. Additional places are priced at £100).
  • Statutory refresher training for Designated Safeguarding Leads and those who provide cover for the role to ensure they keep abreast of local and national guidance and developments in the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead as set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education (DFE) (two free places per year are included within this agreement. Additional places are priced at £100).

Core services

  • Support and advice through telephone consultation or visit from a Senior Officer in response to critical incidents and other safeguarding concerns
  • The provision of a Schools’ Safeguarding Handbook providing key model policies, resources and guidance
  • Regular newsletters and other e-briefings in response to key local and national developments
